Vicky finished her PhD at SIAT in 2016. Her dissertation explores the design of social engagement in relationship to alternate reality games (ARG) and site-specific artworks. She draws on cultural theories rooted in fine art practices; primarily through the lens of theatre to investigate how ARG design can support the exploration of real-world places. She also writes about community art (social) practice, social media, design interventions, and arts research.
Vicky is passionate about the synthesis of art and science research and have been involved in a number of large-scale projects under the umbrella of INTERACTION ART.ORG. She also enjoys working with people and organizations in the development of outreach programs that promote healthy communities.
