Urban Data Posts is a public light installation displaying the potential power of urban sustainable energy in the City of Vancouver. The project is collaboration between SAP, Science World and Simon Fraser University. It test drives a public interactive installation driven by renewable energy and dynamic data within the neighbourhood and informed by the Greenest City Action Plan (GCAP) 2020 by the City of Vancouver. The aim of the installation is to create engagement with communal and urban data in a public setting over time as well as to find novel and technical means to engage the public.
